The Caribbean Premier League(CPL) is a domestic Twenty cricket tournament held on the Caribbean island. It is currently sponsored by Hero MotoCrop and hence formally named Hero CPL. The ninth edition of the CPL T20 has gotten underway on August 26(Wednesday), with the clash between the defending champions Trinbago Knight Riders(TKR) and Guyana Amazon Warriors. Like the previous edition total of seven teams are participating in this tournament, but this time St Kitts & Nevis Patriots host this tournament. In addition, CPL 2021 features thirty-three matches (30 playoffs, 2 semi-final and the final matches). The morning match is scheduled at 10 A.M local time and 7.30 P.M IST.
